edr Limited Pharma Translation provides its clients with quality translation services since 1988. There are four important points in the medical translation field:

1. Medical translations, directly related to human health, must be handled with extra care. Therefore we have three consecutive editing procedures, i.e. expert editing, copy editing, and proof reading for each and every translation work. Technical editing is conducted in most cases by an independent editor. edr advisory committee is frequently referred to, especially for the new clients and new drugs, indications, or legislation.

2. Confidentiality is of utmost importance. All original documents marked as confidential are kept strictly confidential, and all relevant work on confidential documents are conducted pursuant to the Confidentiality Agreements. Confidential works are not archived unless otherwise stated by the customer, and duly destroyed by mechanical and/or electronic means upon request.

3. Recurring jobs, especially in the regulatory works, new indication documentation, variation reports, and reports such as adverse event, confirmed consent etc. require a sound archiving mechanism. edr Limited keeps the records of the works for 10 years as from actual delivery to the client, and all these records are accessible by the clients upon request. No extra fees are charged for archiving, and retrieval services.

4. Terminology preferences must be observed very carefully. In regulatory documents Ministry of Health terminology helps translators, but for most of the cases the client preferences should be taken into consideration together with extensive efforts shown in new terminology creation activities as seen in EU-related legislation. edr Advisory Committees are responsible for preliminary terminology work. Medical Advisory Committee is composed of medical faculty professors, medical doctors, and experienced medical translators. Legal Advisory Committee is composed of lawyers and experienced legal translators.
